How do I speed up my iCloud backup ?

I want to transfer my stuff from my iphone 8 to the Xr but my iCloud backup is taking ages, its says "about 4 hours". how do i speed it up ? help a brother out foo

Why is my iCloud backup taking so long?! I’m doing my first iCloud backup up of around 35GB from my iPhone 6s so I can transfer everything to my new iPhone 8. However, it’s about 1/4 the way done and says it could be about 16 more hours. Is it because this is a large upload or something else? How can I speed it up, as my old phone is broken and I really need to get everything into my new one?! Thank you!!

Are you connected to a power source and speedy Wi-Fi?

The speed of the backup really depends on the speed of your Wi-Fi and an amount of data you are backing up.
