I cannot connect my iPad pro 10.5 to my MacBook pro 2015 even if I followed all the recommends apple has suggested.

I followed all as apple suggested; reconnection, updating software, checking usb port by connecting other accessories, rebooting, etc. But nothing has changed, just making beep beep sound from iPad. What should I do more??

try another cable

try another computer

that should give you an impression if the connector of the ipad has broken.
