I have a mid 2011 iMac 21.5 and trying to upgrade OS X to Sierra from El Capitan

Dear Apple Forum,

I"m trying to upgrade from El Capitan to Sierra .. the computer is not offering me a choice to select and update to high sierra when I go to updates?

Any suggestions?

Unable to upgrade from Sierra 10.12.6 I have an iMAC 2011. I believe I cannot upgrade to the latest OS version but with my current status I cannot use certain software I wish to. I believe my iMAC can be upgraded to High Sierra but when I use the links in other threads (Version 10.13.6) it says the version is damaged OR that I have to upgrade to 10.13.1 to upgrade further. However, I have yet to find a link that works. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have an imac with sierra 10.12.6. i would like to upgrade to High Sierra but can't seem to do that. I go to "about my mac," click on updates and there's nothing available. Can anyone help?
