Can't resubmit CV for Apple Specialist

So I applied for a Specialist position years ago but now I want to resubmit a CV. However, when I click 'Resubmit CV' on Apple's role advertisement it simply reloads the same page. I do not seem to have the same problem with the other available positions on the career search. I can't see an option to delete my previous application either. Also, I have attempted this on multiple computers, so it doesn't seem to be a device-specific issue.


Any thoughts?

I see this as a NEW position (as of yesterday)


What browser are you using?

Have you tried another browser?


You say this position page is the only one that is wonky...

have you tried "starting all over?" (do another search and get this position as a NEW result) -- you then should see this as I do, as if it was NEW and posted yesterday awaiting a NEW application by you

FWIW, I am signed in when viewing your position page

The DATE is in fact RE-posted when it is NEW

Your position was POSTED yesterday = POSSIBLY RE-posted

For example:

This is a position that fits my search criteria that was posted on April 2nd

All that said, if you see "RE-submit" you see re-submit. If it merely appears to reload the page, that is a problem


I notice that, when I choose the [Submit Resume] button, a POPUP window appears to continue the workflow.

I use Firefox browser - with its built-in popup/ad blocking AND have a very robust Adblocker add-on AND robust Popup blocker add-on.

I do NOT have a problem with popup windows on apple.com because I have the add-ons DISABLED for apple.com = Apple does not need to do "ads" on their own site nor do they allow "unwanted" popups to inhabit their space.


Do you run ad/popup blockers?

Give us the URL of the "Position" (role?) page so that we might test

It MAY be a problem with THAT page only - or widespread



At bottom, we here are user volunteers with no ability to peek behind the services curtain

We can, however, report the issue to the Hosts (after gathering enough data) so that they can notify the right folks in the HR website maintenance department

You can only apply for jobs on Apple if you sign in with your Apple ID, so when I sign in it automatically changes to "Resubmit" as I have applied for the role of Specialist in the past. The role does not change each day, only the date changes, it is the same role but with a different date so I don't think that is relevant to the issue unfortunately. I have tried with both Chrome and Safari browsers and also on both Mac and Windows platforms.
