Mojave 10.14.4 strange graphics glitch

I have noticed since I upgraded to Mojave that there has been graphics problems with some items, for example when i open the apple logo or a finder window the border around the window looks distorted please see photos below.

I have a macbook pro mid 2012

Has anyone else noticed this ?

Screen corruption and flickering with Mojave I've been plagued by random bits of screen corruption and flickering on my brand new iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch running Mojave 10.14.3. The problem seems to be graphics card or graphics rendering related and not a problem with the screen itself, since the corruption moves with the screen content and will temporarily disappear when changing the display resolution. The problem also does not get captured when I take a screenshot. I was able to reproduce the problem using the Sarafi with the netboot version of Mojave. I was not able to reproduce it with Safari running on the netboot version of High Sierra. Here are some examples of the screen corruption while browsing the apple.com website with Safari after a clean install of the OS.

Screen goes nuts when FCPX is running Something unusual has started happening when I am using Final Cut Pro X. When I do something else which requires graphics (like Mission Control, for instance) the screen goes nuts and multicoloured, like a 60's rock concert poster. If I quit FCPX, it solves the problem, although for some reason the title menu bar appears distorted still, as if the colour values are messed up. Any idea why this could be happening and only when FCPX is running? It happened using Mojave and still with Catalina, by the way. Could there be some issue with my graphics card in my iMac?

Mojave screen glitch - white boxes/distortions following pointer? I recently updated my Mac (Pro, mid 2012) to OS Mojave and have had numerous issues ever since. I've been able to solve most of them, but recently I have been experiencing a very strange screen glitch. When I hover my mouse over links/buttons/anything click-able (e.g., bookmarks icons), there are small white boxes/distortions that glitch in and out behind the pointer -- see attached screenshots. I've also experienced the occasional larger visual glitch, with similar white bars/distortions flashing in and out on the screen when I click links or close an app.I thought at first it might have been an issue with Firefox, but I checked and experienced the same issue in Google Chrome and Tor, etc., and the issue began immediately after I updated to OS 10.14.1. I booted in Safe Mode and tried resetting NVRAM after reading about similar sounding issues in Apple support forums... and I'm not sure how to proceed! Has anyone run into a problem like this/anyone have any suggestions?

Does that also occur in Safe Mode? Does it occur when booted normally and logged in to a different user account?
