Mojave 10.14.4 strange graphics glitch

I have noticed since I upgraded to Mojave that there has been graphics problems with some items, for example when i open the apple logo or a finder window the border around the window looks distorted please see photos below.

I have a macbook pro mid 2012

Has anyone else noticed this ?

Does that also occur in Safe Mode? Does it occur when booted normally and logged in to a different user account?
