I noticed this yesterday, but anytime I try to attach a photo, the finder window is displaying iPhotos in spanish instead of english. I have checked all the settings on all my linked devices and english is the only language selected; including attachment.
Any thoughts would be appreciated

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...
Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
Does it display the same in the new account?
Thank you for replying. It did not address the issue; the new user has the exact same issue with photos appearing in Spanish
It was a troubleshooting step, & with that result I can only guess that the OS needs to be reinstalled, or restored from a time that wasn't the case. :(
