Installing self signed root certificate on iphone running iOS 12.2

I'm trying to install a self signed  root certificate on iphone running iOS 12.2.

A have it in Profile app and installed, but it says "not verified" so  it is not displayed in About | Certificate Trust settings to enabled it.

Please advise me how to solve the issue.

Thank you for the answer.

The issue was the certificate itself. It was self-signed but not a CA certificate. I recreated the certificate with the appropriate attribute and after that the installation worked fine. It appeared verified and I could enable it.
