link to HP iPAQ type PDA - is there an app for that?

How do I upload data from an HP iPAQ to my Mac Pro? Without using a windows emulator?

I am forced to use an ancient iPAQ PDA (legacy again). HP won't talk about Apple anything, unless it's printers. I collect data on an iPAQ PDA. Microsoft says use ActiveSync, which runs only in Windows.

Is there any way I can tell my Mac to recognize the PDA & then upload the data from it? The data is simple - flat text.
