iCloud storage

I have an Iphone 6s, with around 700 pictures and videos on my basic 5 GBs of iCloud storage with only .5 GBs left. Lets say i buy the exta 50 GBs of iCloud storage for .99 cents a month. Then over the course of a month i take around 1000 videos and pictures along with downloading some songs. then those pictures, videos, and songs get backed up and download onto the extra 50 GBs i bought. if i decided to cancel and stop paying every month, then what happens to those songs, videos, and pictures that were backed up or downloaded onto that extra 50 GBs? do they get deleted? or what? I don't want to buy more storage if to take more pictures and video and download songs, if when i have to cancel my storage plan, they all disappear.

You have 1 month to remove all data, otherwise iCloud deletes data over your current storage limit.
