Deleted photos hidden I Photolibrary. What ..?

I found out the stangest thing. Seems like all my photos are stored in Photolibrary even if I have deleted them! I read in a thread that Apple says they don't take up space, but when I open them i Photoshop the size is exactly the same as the originals ... How come Apple recommend not to delete and they don't take up space? If I've got 1.000 RAW images in my hidden Photolibrary they don't take up space ..??? What's up and down here ..?

Have you already emptied the Recently Deleted Album in Photos? If you delete a photo from your Photos Library, it will remain in the library for recovery until you empty the Recently Deleted Album. The Recently Deleted album will be emptied automatically after 30 days, unless you delete the photos earlier from tis album.

Ok - thanks. I have deleted in Photos. So what you're saying is the images I delete in Photos automatically are deleted I Photolibrary ..
