Using Apple watch 4, Strava app and external heart rate monitor Polar H10

Hi there,

I’ve recently bought an Apple Watch 4 and have been using the Strava app on it. I want to use an external heart rate monitor with it and after doing some research I quite fancy the Polar H10. 

I’ve read from various sources about being able to use this device with iPhones and older versions of the watch. Also that it works with Strava on most of these devices but I can’t find anything about the exact combination I’m thinking of. 

I’m hoping I can use the Polar H10 with my Apple Watch 4 Strava app with or without my iPhone. I’m hoping people have tried and tested this combination and can let me know.
