What is that "yxh adware"

I found two folders that are quite strange...

Their both name is "com.yxh.adware"

I found them in the private > var > folders > yk > 014_98315etc > C folder

It can may be a joke from a developper of one of the application that I'm using but it's a bit strange...

Should I delete it?

Avast found threats on MacBook pro Hello, I’m doing a deep scan using Avast anti-virus on a MacBook Pro. After letting the deep scan finish Avast is telling me it found 3 items listed as “Other:Malware-gen Trj” 2 are zip files and 1 is a pdf. They look like they were attachments in the users mailbox. I quarantined them using avast then deleted them. I have done a few deep scans since then and haven’t found any other threats. Is this something to be concerned about? I can’t find any info on what “Other:Malware-gen Trj” is. Thanks

Suspicious-looking folders I notice that recently when I go to attach a file to email, above "Recent Places" in the file selector list there are a bunch of suspicious-looking folders I've never seen before, named: WebArchiveCopyPasteTempFiles com.microsoft.Word fzp09ngngh2hvdnzgb...(and then a bunch of other seemingly random characters) T rt folders var private Should I be concerned?

Suspicious Folder I am helping someone clean up after some malware called MacCleanUpPro found its way onto her MacBook. I have removed all the usual detritus associated with this sort of infection - files in LaunchAgents etc. The malware had installed the MacCleanUpPro application in the ~/Applications folder rather than the /Applications folder - so we removed that. Next to malware app in ~/Applications was folder called SecuremacUpdates. In that folder there were two executable files called "SecuremacUpdates" and "enc_file". See below for a screenshot. I was fairly confident, but not absolutely certain that this was also part of the malware. So rather than delete it altogether I moved the folder elsewhere and compressed it into a zip. So my questions are: has anyone come across this "SecureMacUpdates" folder in ~/Application? If so was it associated with MacCleaner/MacDefender/MacCleanUp type malware? Or is it associated with some legitimate software? Thanks for any feedback.

Ok I found myself, it was from the application "Adware Doctor" available on the app store, that I deleted few months ago that were here.
