Today I was unable to open Photos on my old Mac. I received the message : " Photos cannot find the System Photo Library named Photos Library. photoslibrary ". How do I set it as the System Photo Library in Preferences?

is your photos library stored on an external drive or did you move/rename the library? It should be found in the user folder in the pictures folder.

On old Mac? Are ou using the same Photos Library on two different Macs?
You can only share a library between two Macs, if the system version installed on the two Macs is the same. The library needs to be on an external drive, that is not used by Time Machine?
