Kernel Task High CPU usage HDMI monitor bug fix !

Hi Everbody ,

For those of you that have been tormented by this bug as I have . You'll be happy to know there's an extremely simple solution!

Go to System preferences - Bluetooth - Advanced

then uncheck all three boxes

Viola !!

I wish I'd discovered this 2 friggen years ago. Thanks Martin Stosch !

High CPU utilization by kernel_task process when external monitor plugged in I have a MacBook Pro 16" 2019 i9 Processor with 32 Gig Ram. Whenever i connect an external monitor using HDMI (Dell Monitor) a process called kernel_task starts taking very high CPU (says 1000%) and all the applications become very slow. As soon as I unplug the monitor the CPU utilisation of kernel_task reduces and everything is normal. Because of this i am not able to use the external monitor. The issue was in Catalina OS and also in Big Sur. Seems to be a very old issue. Is there a solution/workaround for this?

kernal_task taking too much cpu kernal_task in acitivity Monitory occupying more cpu usage. It happens when i am connecting my machine to to extended monitory(My LED TV) with playing videos in VLC. It goes to 500% and more .It slows down the entire machine. Even the video getting struck in VLC. When I disconnect from external monitor it goes down and getting normal. I'vd updated to Mojave, but still i'm getting this issues. Thanks, Ayyappan

cpu threads - kernel_task The activity monitor app on my MacBook Pro 13 inch, 2018 model, shows that the kernel_task is using 200+ threads, the next highest thread count is about 40. Is that too much and if so is there a way to fix it without damaging anything else?
