Activation Lock iPad mini

My iPad mini had an update awhile ago and the activation lock appears now this wouldn't be an issue before however the previous email used got hacked and lead to deletion so now I can't access the email that the activation lock requires, the email I'm using now is my new one I just can't bypass the activation lock without the old deleted email. Any suggestions? I tried resetting via connecting to the computer but it always ends up on the activation lock.
