All my email accounts are IMAP accounts, but I still have to delete the same emails on my Mac, iPhone, and iPad. What settings do I need to change so that when I delete an email on one device, it also deletes on the others as well?

Verify IMAP.
Well this is the beauty of IMAP mail accounts compared to POP.

Who provides your Mail? in other words who is the... "@mailprovider"

An IMAP account will delete emails across all devices accessing the account.This of course is only true if the emails you are deleting are included in one of the syncgronized folders. If you are moving your emails to an unsynchronized folder then the email will be deleted only from the device on which the email resides.
To be dense once again, what are syncronized folders, and how do I syncronize my folders? An email comes into my Mail inbox from one of three email accounts, either gmail, iCloud, or Yahoo. When I delete it, it goes into the trash folder. What else do I need to do?

Synchronized folders would be the ones on the Server & on Your Mac.. in the same relative positions in that account.
In Mail Prefs check that account's Mailbox Behaviors to see if the Trash is pointing to Trash On My Mac, or to Trash on the Server.
