iPad won’t pair with Iphone5

Try forgetting your iPhone WiFi hotspot and re-joining. If that doesn't help, reset iPad network settings. FYI, pairing is normally Bluetooth related. You're just trying to use a WiFi access point. That's not pairing.

There is no native BlueTooth protocol to pair two iDevices. What are you hoping to accomplish?
