Photo Backups

Does iCloud backup photos that are in the hidden album? I am unsure if it does or not.

iPhone SE, iOS 12

They are still backed up. You are simply hiding them from view in Moments, Years, and Collections but are still visible in the Hidden Album.

When the photos are being backed up, the number specified doesn’t include photos in the hidden album. Are you entirely sure that they get back d up?
