I changed my Admin name and now I can't download anything

I changed my administrator name and now when it asks for name and password it doesn't work. How can I retrieve the old or fix this? I can't download or anything without an administrator name and password.

iMac 21.5", macOS 10.13

Use the Admin account you used to change the name in order to give your current account admin privileges again.
