Logitech USB Mouse Won't work

So I've got the new 2017/18 13-inch MacBook Pro, I have purchased a dongle that has a USB receiver on the end. I plugged the Mouse USB device in the dongle. The problem is the MacBook recognises it in the system preferences but the cursor will not move at all.

Any Tips? Or definite Answers?

What exact dongle is this?

Which exact Mac is this?

The 2017 models of the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar limiting full speeds to the two left-side Thunderbolt 3 ports, with reduced bandwidth on the right-side ports.
