Iphone Hard reset

1st. have you tried to change the number by a number they could have accidentally said the wrong number, but if you did want to reset it (although I suggest do trying to find the person attached to it)

Follow the steps:

1. disconnect it

2. turn it off

3. hold the home button and do not let go

4. re-connect it (still not letting go)

5. press ok in iTunes on the pop-up (you can let go of the home button now)

6. click restore iPhone

if this does not work plug the phone into a computer with iTunes and restore from there :)

Even after hard reset you won't be able to use it. As soon as you hard reset it, The first thing it will ask for is existing apple id and password.

You can hand it over to the local police because you will not be able to use it,
