I have an iPhone 6 which can’t get reset to factory setting however I used the shift button to force the new iOS version but still comes with an error (4005).

Note that your iTunes version should be 12.9.4 or later. And it requires Windows 7 or later, and it may require a more recent version of Mac OS if you have a Mac.
You may also get that message if the phone was ever jailbroken or you had a beta version on it.

It is not restoring to factory setting- however I have to latest version of iTunes, plus it comes with an error (4005) at the end which says “this iPhone can not be restored”
