We have a restrctions passcode on one of the phones we have and we forgot the passcode, i haven't been able to find anything that will retrieve the passcode for ios12 or newer, and the last resort is to factory restart the phone but has anyone figured this out yet to where i dont have to reset the phone?

You have to reset an iPhone and set it up as new.

I have been able to recover the password with the Pinfinder app in the past. You can look it up. Good luck. I was using some IOS 12 version at the time.
