found iphone

hello!

i found a non used/activated bran-new iphone, on the street, with the box and everything (except the charger). i belive someone left it over the car and drove away, dropping few miles later.

i tried to call an apple store to check if they can locate the owner but i couldn’t make the call.

i left the phone on and connected to the wifi where i am staying - i am not from here (California/Palos Verdes).

suggestions?

Turn it into the police where you found it. It is no use to you or anyone else.
