iTunes - Podcasts

How do you make it so iTunes doesn't download podcasts? I only listed to podcasts on my iPhone and there is no memory left on my PC.

In iTunes user Edit > Preferences > Store > Untick Sync podcast subscriptions and settings. You can then independently control what gets downloaded to your computer and your device.
