apple watch activity app

since i updated to 5.2 a week or two ago, my activity app has not been working properly. It does not register exercise accurately, and it does not pick up when I have been walking outdoors. It used to ask me if I am doing an outdoor walk, now it is not picking up on it. Out of over an hour of walking it showed I had done 13 minutes of exercise. I have reset everything but to no avail.

activity app only partially working on apple watch and iPhone My activity app was working just fine until about three days ago. Now I have noticed that it tracks my standing, but not my workouts or even the red 'movement' ring. It tracks my workouts, as I put them in, counting the time and humidity and all that, but there is NO tracking of any of my movements, not the red or green ring have moved in the last three days. It doesn't make sense to me...any suggestions? I don't have a new iPhone, my watch is paired with my iPhone, and the app is on both my watch and iPhone, it just doesn't track my movements anymore. I have all notifications on, automatic setting. I turned them off and back on again...still nothing. Please help.

Unpair your Watch and repair it. Set up as a new Watch. Then see how you get on. Failing that call Apple Store and get them to examine it
