I am trying to find out if I am able to recover a deleted iMessage with a video attachment. It was sent to my old iPhone 5 and I switched to the 6s like a day after deleting it. I see their are Apps and programs that allow you to recover deleted data, I am trying to figure out which one will actually recover deleted iMessage videos? Any answers or opinions would be very helpful.

To my knowledge, no backup = no recovery.
In particular, when you delete iMessages or SMS, they aren't moved to a special folder (recently deleted) as other apps do. Those messages or related attachments are completely removed from the device.
I don't know any 3rd party app that can retrieve deleted messages, without a backup. Sorry.

Well I have seen them online when I have googled it and also talking to someone on Apple support said there are such things but they don’t know which ones are good or if they work or not and said to read the reviews but I’m just trying to find one that will for sure retrieve the video that was deleted it with the iMessage
