I activated iCloud on both my iPhone 7 and laptop
I activated iCloud on both my iPhone 7 and laptop "hp" but the pictures on my phone haven't appear on the laptop, what should i do?

My understanding of iCloud Photos for Windows is that new photos taken after you have turned it on will sync automatically but you have to manually download ones taken before you turned it on. See the following from Set up and use iCloud Photos on your Windows PC - Apple Support
New photos and videos you add to iCloud Photos will automatically download to your PC. You can also download your collection by year when you follow these steps:
- Open a File Explorer window.
- Under Favorites, click iCloud Photos.
- Click Download photos and videos.
- Choose the photos and videos you want to download and click Download.
Your photos and videos download to the location you set in iCloud Photos Options.
