How can I edit an m4v with imovie?

I saw a lot of posts on this that are over 7 years old. Surely there's something more recent? Thanks!

Hi,

M4v is a format that can be edited with iMovie. Here's a link to a help menu with a good search feature that will give a step by step explanation of the process.
