All of a sudden i can only see my unread messages in Inbox (I have 2 email accounts coming in to my Inbox). I have to click on individual account inbox mailboxes to see my read messages... How can I change it back so that I can see both read and unread messages from both my accounts?

Did you try rebuilding the specific Mailbox?
Mail>Mailbox>Rebuild
