Apple TV remote lag

All of a sudden my Apple TV is not responding quickly with the remote or remote on my phone. It take anywhere from 15-45 seconds for it to respond to commands. I’ve restarted it, unplugged it for a long period and charged the remote. Closed apps. It works for a second sometimes after reboot but then gets slow again.

Apple TV 4K Lagging When Using Apple TV Remote. Works Fine with Remote App on iPhone. I have three Apple TV 4K's. All three were working perfectly. A few weeks ago, one of them starting having significant lag/inconsistent behavior when using my Apple TV remote to navigate the apps. I paired another Apple TV remote with it and the issue is the same. It works perfectly when I use the Remote app on my phone. The Apple TV 4K is running on version 12.3. Everything is updated and reset. The remote is fully charged. I'm using a HDR compatible high speed HDMI cable. Was working fine for months until a month or so ago. Thoughts? Thank you in advance.

My Apple TV remote does not skip forward 10 seconds anymore it only pauses. My Apple TV remote does not skip forward or rewind 10 seconds anymore when clicking the right or left side, it only pauses.

Try a restore. If it persists take the unit to Apple for testing.
