My iPhone 8 Home Button is cracked and overheating

i dropped it on small pile of rocks in my garage and my phone stopped working for a minute or to and the Touch ID dosnt work same as the home button and it’s over heating like crazy. Is there a way to stop the over heating? Because I can’t afford a new iPhone yet.

The home button on my iPhone 6 turns when I press it, and it gets extremely hot. I’m not sure how this happened, but it is a hand me down phone. The button doesn’t work, and it spins when I put my finger on it. I’m not going to get the button fixed, only because it costs more then the resale value of the phone.

Can you repair this one?

This is actually not safe to use it. It may overheat because of the battery damage.

I can’t repair it I’m not that good with phone repairs.

also I tired to look for a repair shop or tools to fix the home button but i didn’t find anything
