app appears to zoom although zoom feature turned off

iPhone 8 using NRMA app for details of Caltex service stations - when I tap on 'bubble' to show address on the map, the address menu fills the screen. It should show a narrow section of the map behind the address menu to enable me to return to the map and check out other addresses. attached are two screen shots - one off my iPhone 8 and one of a different (working) iPhone 8. How to correct this please?
