I have a question this morning. I am wondering if it is possible to get an alert or notification from our voicemail on an IPhone 6s sent to an IPad mini 4 when we get a new voicemail on the IPhone. It would make it easier to get voicemails, as our IPhone is not used as often as the IPad.

If both iPhone 6s and iPad Mini 4 use the same Apple ID. Then it is possible to diver all calls and SMS to iPad Min but not notifications.
If your service provides you with SMS alert on receiving VoiceMail then it will get automatically get forwarded to iPad
Settings > Phone > Calls on Other Devices [Select the Device]
Settings > Message > Text Messaging Forwarding [Select the Device]
