Stop Flex Time from making changes

In the old version of Flex Time, I could turn it on on a track and then move things around as I needed. Now, when I turn it on on a track, it makes all these timing moves BEFORE I do anything to it.

I'm working on a track with distorted guitars and just need the downbeats to line up a bit better. Just want to nudge that one bit forward a little.e But when I turn flex time on, it has changed the timing of the entire track! I started going through and moving everything back, but it was insane.

Is there a setting that will just add the flex markers WITHOUT it makings any moves first?
