Will the SOS Fall Detection feature on the Apple Watch Series 4 work with an iPhone 7 Plus or iPhone 8 Plus? I cannot find anywhere that shows which phones and OS each feature will be compatible with.
Fall Detection is an Apple Watch Series 4 feature- it doesn't matter what iPhone model it's paired to. When you fall, and the Apple Watch detects it, it'll call emergency services from the Watch itself (if you have a cellular model) or place the call from it's paired iPhone if it's nearby. Yes, any iPhone from 6s on up having IOS 12.2 and with Watch OS 5.2. I meant to add that the person wearing the watch has to be age 65 or older.
It works with my iPhone-7.
