Pop-up about my other mac's file transfer

I've got two macs, and all of a sudden i am seeing this pop-up on my imac, when my macbook is doing some file transfers.

What is it?

I do not have desktop/document sharing enabled in icloud.

It doesn't even go away after the file transfer is done.

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.14

Sharingd pop-up still pops up after upgrading to Monterey Hi, someone suggested here somewhere that upgrading to a new version of Mac OS might solve the problem of the sharingd pop-up popping up. Unfortunately it's not the case, though it only shows itself for a second now and then it's gone... I'm not keen on installing 3rd party software to fix it, so has anyone been lucky so far in removing it without doing this? I got a system notice on my MacBook Air that someone was downloading my files was on my MacBook Air M1 and got a system notice that someone was downloading files and asked if it was me. when I clicked it it disappeared. How do I determine who was doing it and turn off whatever sharing allowed it. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Warning when deleting over File Sharing? When deleting a file over File Sharing, does Mac OS still give a warning about deleting immediately and not being able to undo this action? I know it used to in the past, but all the information I can find online is many years old. I want to be sure I can’t accidentally delete without meaning to. Thank you!

This might be the Handoff and continuity feature.
