Can you help? My company operates a secure server, and I am completely unable to access on my MBP. I can dial in via Microsoft Remote Desktop to my 'company dell laptop' but I would rather use my MBP. I use an authenticator to connect to this, which gives me access to our company sites/servers.
Is there anyway to connect to the secure site using my apple products?

Talk about this with your company's network administrator. Maybe they have Mac address filtering or some other access security active. Make sure your client is correctly configured for access to the specific access point.
My company operates a secure pc and sites policy, they gave me a workaround to access my PC desktop via windows server 2012 using Windows Remote Desktop. It is a little slow and I when I try to access some of the sites via safari, not using the Remote Desktop, this is when I get the error message.
If I access via Remote Desktop, it works.
I ran the trace and there are 64 hops in reaching the final destination.
I will speak with my administrators to see what they can do for me.
It did not seem to stall, it was slow, but seemed to be working ok.
I think the issue is authentication, via the secure PC, it works.

Dial in is really an alternative??

You supply no link to test on this end—maybe you can not share this info(?)
This is an error code: "Secure server access - "server isn't responding" makes it sound like a server issue, not a Mac issue.
Did you call your IT and ask if the server is up? Any known issues?
You can ping the server/ you can run a traceroute to see if it stalls.

Number of hops is not the issues, the issue is if it stalls—this leads to your "server isn't responding"
