Change of old phone number

While changing old phone number on iPhone 6s in iMessage and FaceTime it showing “activation unsuccessful”.

Activation imessage and facetime I accidently remove my phone number on imessage and facetime, how can i add my old number on imessage and facetime, both keep verifying activation but then unsuccessful. Already restart phone, sign out and in apple id. Someone can help me?

my new iphone is “verifying” my number in imessage and facetime helloo, i am switching out my iphone xr and inputting all my info into my new iphone 12 pro. When i text people they get it from my email instead of my number & when i go to setting and scroll down to imessage and facetime it says “waiting for activation” & i press on the tab and it has my email and phone number and my phone number is loading & “verifying” but i don’t understand what it’s verifying ? & i already deleted my old phone 😬
