How do I know which version of Xcode to download?

Hi,

I was hoping to install Xcode from the App Store but I get the following message:

"Xcode can’t be installed on “Macintosh HD” because macOS version 10.14.3 or later is required."

My Mac is running High Sierra 10.13.4. I've been to the website... https://developer.apple.com/download/more/

...but it's difficult to see which version of Xcode will actually run, so I want to make sure I know before I download.

Thank you!

MacBook Pro 15", macOS 10.13

It seems to me you would want to be running the latest—your mac can be updated to 10.14.4?

Thank you for your very quick response!

I can - however I'm mostly working in audio, and I've heard issues with Mojave with ProTools for example.

On the other hand, I am also worried about potential issues running an older Xcode. But I will try downloading this and see if I have issues. I suppose Mojave can always be installed later if I have major issues.

Thank you so much again!
