iMac frozen on gray startup screen

Every time I try to startup my iMac, it takes forever to load, then it stops at 100%. I've tried booting it in SafeMode and this screen came up, then it went to the regular Apple logo and startup progress bar. It stopped at 100% again.

Looks like your Mac experienced a kernel panic when you booted up in Safe Mode.
