I got an email a week ago saying I had a credit on an old gift card. But I cannot remember the card, nor even remember getting one in some time. Any idea if this email was a scam (it was sent from from what looks like to be a reliable email) and if it's not a scam, how to use that credit if I can't remember or find the gift card?
It smells like a week old fish...ignore it and forget the "old gift card." If you don't know the details of where/when it will not be found any other way.
