show print queue stopped working iOS Mohave 10.14.4

I updated an iMac late 2013 to Mohave 10.14.4 I can print (most of the time!) but when the printer stalls I cannot "Open Print Queue" to trouble shoot. I have deleted and added the printers back without being to get back to where I was before the upgrade. What happened to Open Print Queue?

Canon / print queue on MacBook Pro m1 I have a canon IX6850 that works fine, but I can't open the print queue on my macbook pro m1 after I send documents to it. I go to system preferences > printers > Open Print Queue. On my old MacBook Pro (same version of Mac OS) the print queue would open automatically after I print. I'm using AirPrint and the printer is on firmware v2 (up to date). Is this more likely a Mac OS issue or a Canon/Printer issue?

Printer Utility The printer utility doesn't show up in 'utilities' in Finder. Search-nothing. My printers don't show up in the dock when I print something. I have deleted and reinstalled the printers and still no printer utility. This happened when I transitioned from my old iMac 27" to the new iMac 24" M1. Where is the printer utility?

“Xerox Features” not showing in print dialog "Xerox Features" are not showing in the print dialog pull-down menu (the one just below “Pages: From: to:”). It is not showing in Safari, Preview, Pages nor TextEdit. All I can see in the pull-down menu is a generic option called "Printer Features”, which does not properly give access to Xerox options. The problem is observed on two different computers: a MacBook running Mac OS 10.13 (High Sierra) and an iMac running Mac OS 10.14 (Mojave). I tried different versions of the Xerox print driver, including the most recent one and various versions from 2015 to now, without success. The printer is a Xerox ColorQube 8580DN. The driver latest version is 5.6.0, dated July 26, 2020. I also have an HP LaserJet 3052 printer, and the problem is the same: the “Printer Features” option appears in the pull-down menu and does not give access to HP options. However, the “Xerox Features” are showing properly in the latest version of Microsoft Office 365 applications: Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Therefore, it looks like the Microsoft Office installation program patches the Apple print dialog in a way which interferes with all other applications.
