10.7.5 and ESO utility. Fan Running Hot on Macbook Processor 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5

Anybody know why or how to fix.

When running Canon ESO Utility or an external monitor the fan runs loud and get warm.

Mac OS X 10.7.5

Processor 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5.
