Hi,
Just got an iphone, and am trying to install some basic apps. When I sign in, there is no error message, but when I try to install whatsapp, for example, the little circle just keeps spinning. It's been spinning for over an hour now.
Any suggestions would be oh so welcome!

Tap on the circle to stop the pending download. You may have to tap it a couple of times. In the process of tapping on the spinning circle, it may kick start the download so give it a couple of second in between taps. If it still fails to download, tap the circle again to stop the process.
Then go to Settings>WiFi>Off. Restart your phone. Go back to Settings>WiFi>On. Try downloading the app again.
If that fails, try a forced restart of your phone and then try downloading the app again. In order to force restart on an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus: Press and hold both the Side and Volume Down buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
