Cross-posting to OS to see if someone with Script Editor skills can figure this out

I've posted this in the Numbers community, but the solution needs someone with scripting talent. I'm trying to modify the following script to highlight the top 3 ranked cells AND the bottom 3 in a column. It works great for the top 3 cells. Any help is greatly appreciated.
