Apple TV 4K DolbyVision colors look full on Sony A8F 4K TV

Greetings,

I’m experiencing dull colors when I use DolbyVision setting on Apple TV 4K connected to a Sony A8F 4K TV.

As as this is a known issue, I was wondering if anyone has found a solution.

So I hope it is okay, if I start a new one :). I am using Apple TV 4K to watch content on my Philips 65OLED754. I have severe color banding when watching dolby vision content. The TV also displays 8 bit color depth instead of 12 bit. I couldn't find a solution so far. Even the main Apple TV menu shows color banding when set to dolby vision. Does anyone know a solution? Major Dolby Vision Issue with Apple TV 4K I have a top end LG TV, using top end HDMI Cables and the Dolby Vision on Apple TV 4K isn’t working. The colors are horrible, blurred, it’s really bad. Yet, if I just go off my tv streaming utilizing apps like Netflix, VUDU, AMAZON PRIME, Dolby Vision works great. When I utilize my Dolby Vision Blue Ray DVD Player it’s an amazing picture with no issues. Does anyone have a solution or is Apple aware and working on a solution and update?
