You don't put it on a particular device, you add it to a specific Apple ID account.

I Purchased a $15 App Store and iTunes card from Walmart there’s no place for me to add it on when I go to the iTunes Store or my or my wallet I need to put it on the iPad so I can get a game for my granddaughter
