Photo negative to Positive

I'm not sure I'm following the proper protocol but I'd like to reverse a negative photo image I discovered on my desktop. I'd appreciate any advice.

You can use the Curves Adjustment in Photos to have a crude negative->positive conversion. See this User Tip: Photos: How invert a positive photo to ne… - Apple Community


Use the Curves adjustment and invert the RGB curve. Drag the definition point at then left (black) end up to 255 and the point for white at the right end down to 0.
