Deleting old text messages, and I reported them as junk

So I was in the process of deleting old text messages, and I accidentally reported them as junk. I’m unsure exactly what that means, and I don’t want those contacts to be reported since they were family, friends, classmates, etc.

You mean messages are nit toggled on under Settings > Your Name > iCloud?

This is actually okay. If this option is enabled, then a backup doesn't have these messages. If you need them, you can restore your iPhone from a backup.

Reporting them as junk shouldn't affect you until you actually block the contact. So send an iMessage to the people you reported junk on your device. It would be great if you have an another device that has iMessage. Send them a message from there and you will be 100% good to go.
